Woodville Families,

We hope everyone is doing well!

Last week, we had the opportunity to come together as a staff to review our beginning-of-year (BOY) data and discuss student progress. Based on these conversations, we are excited to launch our intervention groups this week! We will also be sending home BOY DIBELS results, along with the electronic access code for i-Ready, so families can access their child’s information. After reviewing these results, please feel free to reach out to Mr. Carter with any questions or to discuss your child’s progress and next steps to support their continued academic growth.

With Halloween just around the corner, our students are sure to be full of excitement this week! On Friday, we will hold our annual Halloween Parade at Woodville, beginning at 9:00am. All students will exit the building and complete two laps around the school for our school community to enjoy. As always, we ask that costumes and props be school-appropriate, with no weapons or weapon-like accessories. We also ask that students limit mask use, as some masks can be frightening for our youngest Woodville Bears. We look forward to a fun-filled morning and wish all of our families a happy, safe, and spirited Halloween!

Finally, we will host our annual Veterans Day Assembly on Tuesday, November 10th, at 11:00am in the Woodville gymnasium. We would love to welcome current and former service members from our Woodville community to join us as we honor and thank them for their service. If you or a family member would like to participate, please send along a brief biography of your military service and confirm your attendance. We are grateful for the opportunity to recognize the men and women who have served our country and look forward to celebrating them with our Woodville community.
