STUDENT INFORMATION
*TODAY IS A WIN B.
*If you would like to send a message to Leah Ellis's family letting them know we're thinking of her and her family this holiday season, you can do so by stopping by Mrs. Cook's room between 2:15-2:30 next Monday-Thursday or by visiting the changemaker's table during 8th grade lunch next week. The materials will be provided.
*The Pride Club will be meeting TODAY from 2:15-3:15 in the 7th grade project room. All grades are welcome to attend. Please see Ms. Warren if you have any questions.
*The Upper House Student Council is sponsoring Spirit Week. Today is Teacher Student Swap - Teachers dress like students, students dress like teachers. Tuesday 12/16 - Cozy Toes-Day - Show off your wackiest socks and slippers. Wednesday 12/17 - Wednesday Warmer - Dress for sweater weather - wear your funkiest seasonal sweater. Thursday 12/18 - PJs for the holidays - Show off your holiday spirit in your favorite pajamas.Friday 12/19 - Festive Friday - Wear your favorite holiday gear! Think red, green, white, blue, gold, silver, Santa hats, reindeer ears, etc!
*TOMORROW, Tuesday, December 16th is the 7th Grade Winter Concert.
*The Galvin Community Service club is sponsoring a toy drive to benefit Wakefield children in need. Students and staff can help by bringing in any new toy or gift or by taking a gift request tag from the cafeteria and returning that specific gift with the tag. All gifts can be returned unwrapped to the collection table in the cafeteria.
*The Community Service Club is also sponsoring a winter coat drive. Clean out your closets and donate gently used and new winter coats for youth and adults. All donations can be dropped off in the collection bin in the cafeteria. Thank you for your support!
PARENT INFORMATION
*Students should not be entering the building before 7:15 am unless they are attending Jazz Band, Math Club, or have previously made arrangements with a teacher. There is no supervision in the cafe and breakfast is served from 7:15 am to 7:30 am. Thank you for your cooperation.
*Review of Dismissal Procedures: If you should need to dismiss your student during the school day, please send your child in with a note, and have them report to the main office. We will log them in our dismissal book and give them a pass. This will help to alleviate disruptions to classrooms during teaching time. You can still email the teachers, however if that is all you do it may not be transferred to the main office. Also, if you just email the main office staff or Administration, due to the volume of traffic in the office in the morning, an email may not be seen right away. Parents/Guardians MUST come to the main office to sign their child out. Students cannot just walk out on their own. Thank you for your understanding.
*A gentle reminder, for the safety of all staff and students, parents should not be exiting through the parking lot after dropping children off coming from North Avenue. Parents need to exit the parking lot onto Armory Street. Thank you for your cooperation.
