Recess Area Project

A team of staff and parents are working on designing some pavement art/games on the  blacktop next to the play structure. We will likely need more help as the progress gains momentum, particularly with painting over the summer. If you’re interested in helping with this project, you can find more information here. Class Placement

As we settle into the final months of the school year, our staff will begin working on drafting class groups for next school year. As part of this process, we ask parents for additional information that we should consider. This letter explains more

WEF Stars

Teacher appreciation week is May 5-9. One way we show teachers appreciation is through the WEF Stars recognition. Review this flyer to learn more about how to participate.

Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day - Wednesday, May 7th

Students should arrive in the circle and sign in at their class table by 8:40 AM to be counted toward class totals. The class(es) with the highest percentage of participants win the golden sneaker certificate! Wakefield Academy and bus students will participate by walking as a group down Davidson Road and back with their teachers during arrival. Please note: Davidson Road will be closed to vehicle traffic during this morning event.
