Handbook and Photo Exemption Forms

We have updated our WPS Elementary handbook for the new school year. Please use this form to acknowledge your receipt and review of our elementary school handbook and policies. If you have questions about these policies, please reach out. Additionally, please complete this form only if you DO NOT want your child’s photo/video to be taken at school. If you have any questions about these documents, feel free to reach out.

Back to School Night

Thursday, September 18th will be our annual Back to School Night. All Walton teachers will be present to talk about their plans and answer any questions that parents/guardians may have about the year ahead. Please note: this event is for Walton parents/guardians only. Here is our agenda for the evening:

5:30-5:55 - 3rd and 4th Grade Presentations in Classrooms

Walton School Volunteers

We had success last year inviting parents and community members into the building to help with lunch/recess supervision, and other activities. We welcome any parents or community members who are willing to devote time each week to helping at Walton, especially those with prior experience in educational settings, or working with children. If you might be interested in volunteering during school hours, please complete this form. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

PTO Meeting

Our first PTO meeting of the year will be at Walton this Tuesday at 7:00pm. All are welcome to join amd pizza will be served. We will meet in the music/art room next to the Wakefield Academy entrance.

Fall Warrior Dance Clinic

The WHS Dance Team will be hosting its annual Fall Warrior Dance Clinic for students in grades K-8 on Friday, October 3, 2025.Participants will spend the afternoon with the WHS Dance Team learning a short routine. They will then join the team at the home football game and perform during halftime.
