Announcements

Walton School Volunteers

We had success last year inviting parents and community members into the building to help with lunch/recess supervision, and other activities. We welcome any parents or community members who are willing to devote time each week to helping at Walton, especially those with prior experience in educational settings, or working with children. If you might be interested in volunteering during school hours, please complete this form. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out.

Morning Arrival

At morning arrival, we encourage families who can to park in the neighborhood, and walk to Davidson Circle. More walkers help alleviate the traffic on Davidson. Please note; parking on Davidson Road or in Davidson Circle during arrival is not allowed. For those in the car line, please remember to let your child out on the right-hand side of your car. Adults should stay in their vehicle at all times and Walton staff can assist as needed. Please have children get out of the car as soon as it is safe to do so in Davidson Circle. They do not need to wait for a staff member to let them out of the car.

No Dismissal/Arrival through Western Ave Doors

We are no longer dismissing/arriving students through the Western Ave doors. All students should come to the Davidson side of the building, and all students will be dismissed from the Davidson as well. We apologize for any inconvenience. Feel free to reach out with any questions.

Diabetes Fundraiser

Our student Delaney Swanson is currently raising funds for the upcoming Breakthrough T1D Boston Walk on September 26. She manages Type 1 diabetes with incredible grace, and every contribution helps fund research toward a cure. If you would like to support her, please click here. After School Bathroom Use

If your child needs to use the bathroom after dismissal, please come to the main office. Students not in Wakefield Academy should not be using the doors on the gym or the Wakefield Academy doors to use the bathroom.

Walton Directory - Last Call!

Each year our PTO compiles an online directory to help families connect. If you would like your information listed, please fill out this form. Please submit by Wednesday, September 9 to ensure inclusion.

Walton Pride T-Shirts

The PTO provides free Walton tee-shirts for kindergarteners, fourth graders, and new students. These shirts are required for field trips and school-wide activities. You can also buy a replacement tee-shirt. Order your student’s shirt here by Friday, September 11.
