Students must be registered on ArbiterSports. Create an account if you are new to FamilyID, or log in if you are already a member of FamilyID.
A student must have a physical examination on file with the athletic office which has been administered by a licensed Massachusetts medical physician, nurse practitioner, or physician's assistant, to be eligible to participate in athletics (including tryouts). A physical examination is valid for 395 days (13 months).
A STUDENT WHOSE PHYSICAL EXAM EXPIRES DURING A SEASON WILL BECOME INELIGIBLE THE DAY IT EXPIRES; THEY MUST SUBMIT A NEW PHYSICAL BEFORE THE START OF THE NEXT DAY TO BE ABLE TO CONTINUE PLAYING.
Parents and Students — Athletes who plan to participate in any athletic program must complete a free online concussion course. The National Federation of High School Coaches has provided two free online courses, one specified for parents and one for students, that are available on their website and contain all information required by law. You will need to click the "order here" button and complete a brief information form to register. At the end of the course, you will receive a completion receipt.
All user fee payments can be made via check or online (Mastercard or Discover). Families are encouraged to pay online at Wakefield’s online payment portal, UniPay. If paying by check, please make it payable to "Wakefield High School Athletic Department". Please forward payment to your coach.
